Steps to Old Montreal, nearby shops and restaurants. Beautifully preserved 1900s architecture. Accommodating with room requests. Great base for weekend stay, though pricey for longer stays.

The bar and restaurant area were the best parts of this hotel during Christmas time. The gingerbread cookies and mulled wine they offered were a great touch. The location was perfect with easy access to shopping and attractions. The doorman was very friendly and helpful with our luggage.
There was dust everywhere and the floors were not properly cleaned. The bed was also uncomfortable and we had trouble sleeping.

I was absolutely thrilled with every aspect of my stay, from the fantastic location to the incredible comfort of this place - it truly met all my expectations. And to top it off, the on-site restaurant was an added bonus that I thoroughly enjoyed.

We had really great 7 days here, recommend. We really enjoyed staff and location, exceptionally comfortable beds and the hotel itself was fairly clean.

My room at Hotel St Paul was incredibly quiet, even though it was located on a busy street. I couldn't hear any outside noise, which made for a peaceful stay. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to assist me with anything I needed. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great location close to the old port and Vieux Montreal. Elegant design. Several excellent breakfast places and little bars and restaurant nearly next door. Comfortable beds. Nice bathroom with big bath. Very clean. Most of the staff provided friendly service.
Too little room for luggage. Would have expected a little more care for the customer. Somewhat unprofessional/indifferent service at check-in - the person serving offered minimal information on hotel services etc. and was not very welcoming otherwise either. In the room there was only minimal information on available hotel services, e.g. no information that there is a 24 h gym in the basement. Bath towels had gone missing after housekeeping made up our room on one day. One day the toilet was blocked, but was repaired immediately after calling to reception.

Convenient location for Old Montreal, comfortable bed, good washroom, tasteful architecture, friendly staff, clean suite, fresh breakfast, good food at on-site restaurant, flexible checkout time.
Nothing, no complaints at all.

The location was excellent, in the heart of Old Montreal. The breakfast was pricey but excellent. Staff was nice and responsive. The bar had great cocktails. The bed was comfortable and the washroom was spacious with a great tub. The hotel was a beautiful example of 1900 era architecture, beautifully preserved.
Everything was fantastic.

Front desk was excellent - acted as a concierge for us while also balancing a heavy workload of customers and phones. English was excellent. Hotel staff was very courteous. Rooms were clean. Location in old Montreal was excellent.
Rooms are small. Have to pay extra daily for car parking (22.50$ & internet (14$). Restaurant was way over priced - 163$ for 2 - beers at 8$ each - no wine.

I had a great stay at this hotel in the heart of the historic district. The location was perfect for exploring Old Montreal and there were plenty of dining options nearby, including the highly recommended Hambar restaurant. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure that every detail was taken care of. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, with hardwood floors and all the basic amenities I needed. I also appreciated the option of requesting extra coffee pods for my room with 2 double beds and the decent facilities provided.
No improvements needed, everything was just fine.
